Collaboration between Cellomatics Biosciences Ltd and RenaSci Ltd

Cellomatics BioSciences are pleased to announce their collaboration with RenaSci to support analyte/biomarker testing for their experimental services using Luminex's Multiple-Analyte Profiling (xMAP®) technology. This technology allows simultaneous analysis of up to 50 analytes from a single small sample allowing RenaSci to offer a wider range of assays and measurement of multiple analytes when plasma volume is limited.

Collaboration between Platelet Solutions Ltd and Cellomatics Biosciences Ltd



Platelet Solutions Ltd is launching a collaborative project with Cellomatics Biosciences Ltd. Utilising the strengths of both companies we aim to develop a novel testing platform with the aim to improve current platelet function testing.

Platelets are components of the blood which are involved in arresting bleeding. Reduced platelet function can cause bleeding disorders, whereas increased platelet function can contribute to the development of clots which can cause adverse effects such as stroke and heart attack. Useful in the diagnosis of abnormal bleeding, platelet function is also useful to monitor the effectiveness of antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin or clopidogrel in patients. Ultimately, the latter application may enable personalised therapeutic management for the secondary prevention of stroke and heart attack.
