Earlier this month, Cellomatics proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of scientific excellence, international growth and significant contributions to the UK life sciences sector. Take a look at some of the images and read more about our anniversary celebrations below.
The anniversary celebrations were held at Colwick Hall Hotel on 9 July and were attended by staff, friends and family, customers, stakeholders and dignitaries, including the Deputy Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Trevor Fletcher.
Despite it being an incredibly hot evening, the event was a huge success and a great way to celebrate those who have contributed to Cellomatics’ journey and growth throughout the years.
Guests were welcomed to the event with a champagne reception featuring a light-up “CB10” sign and were encouraged to mingle and take advantage of the weather by playing some of the outdoor games on offer. Cellomatics CEO and Founder gave a speech discussing his journey with Cellomatics, plans for the future and recognising those who have shaped the organisation into what it is today – particularly Anushuya Tamang and Federica Riu who were part of the early days of Cellomatics.
Study and Operations Director Anushuya Tamang and Bioassay Study Manager Alex both gave speeches to celebrate the event. Trevor Fletcher, Deputy Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire also attended the event and gave a speech on Cellomatics as a Midlands-based business and its impressive achievement of the Queens Award for Enterprise in 2022.
The formal section of the evening was brought to an end by Shailendra’s daughter Shanaya and her friend Sam performing some live music for the guests. A delicious buffet dinner was served before attendees spent the rest of the evening mingling, dancing and enjoying the evening sunshine.
The whole event was a celebration of what makes Cellomatics such a special organisation, thank you to everyone who was able to make it!

Looking ahead, Shailendra adds:
