Immunophenotyping Assay

Immunophenotyping is fundamental method to establish the subcellular composition of a heterogenous population. Through the application of flow cytometry, antibodies raised against cell specific markers allow us to accurately quantify target sub-sets within the whole cell population. This technique can be applied to determine how immunomodulatory therapeutic treatments enrich or alter immune cell populations in the presence of relevant stimulatory agents. When coupled with cytokine release assays, additional information relating ‘mode of action’ can be obtained.
