Cellomatics has been shortlisted for a prestigious Medilink Midlands award that recognises and promotes the excellence that East and West Midlands companies are achieving at the leading edge of the Life Sciences sector.
Cellomatics is a finalist in the Export Achievement category of the Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2022. This award recognises outstanding overseas trading performance.
CEO and Founder, Dr Shailendra Singh, says, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. Our exports have grown year on year, with an increasing number of overseas clients turning to us for our expertise in bespoke and innovative preclinical in vitro bioassay services. We continue to grow our client base in Europe and the US, and in the past year have welcomed new clients from the Nordic region, Germany, and as far afield as Singapore. The demand for the high-quality service that UK CROs can offer to the global drug discovery and development market is something that will continue to grow.”
In September, the company reported high demand for its preclinical services which continues to fuel growth for its expert bioassay services.
The 2022 awards are set to take place in person on Thursday 27 January 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. This ceremony will be the first opportunity since the merger of the East and West Midlands Medilink regions for members of the life sciences community to gather together to celebrate and network. Fifty entries submitted across the eight categories will be assessed by a panel of experts from across the sector to select the winners from each region.
