We are pleased to announce that Cellomatics has been named as a finalised for both the Export Achievement and Outstanding Achievement categories in the Medilink Midlands Awards 2026.
The prestigious award ceremony will take place on Thursday 23 April at the Empire Banqueting Hall in Leicester and will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the strength and achievements of the Midlands life sciences sector. The awards will be hosted by multi award-winning comedian and NHS doctor Dr Michael Akadiri and will be accompanied by entertainment from singer-songwriter Emily White and a capella group Totally Vocally.
Being shortlisted for two awards is a huge honour for the team at Cellomatics and emphasises the company’s recent achievements, both in global export and in the sustained and continued growth of the business as a whole. Cellomatics’ success demonstrates how a Midlands-based SME can achieve national and international impact through innovation, scientific rigour, and strong strategic partnerships across multiple sectors. This progress has been accomplished despite a prolonged downturn in the global biotech market and the challenges faced by many other regional organisations.
