Atopic Dermatitis Model

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a complex inflammatory skin disease characterised by periodic flares of symptoms like skin redness, itchiness, swelling as well as cracked skin. This condition affects around 10-20% of the general population with only symptom-managing medication available, driving the need for reliable and physiologically relevant in vitro models to aid in the understanding of the disease development and progression, as well as pre-clinical therapeutic testing. Drawing on the vast experience of our team at Cellomatics, we offer a physiologically relevant primary cell co-culture AD model to aid in the exploration of novel compound efficacy and mechanism of action.
